Replacements for Obsolete Products |
| As technology and performance requirements advance, products must advance as well. Older products become obsolete due to many factors, including critical components no longer being available, new operating features being required, and always there is the demand for lower cost. It has been necessary to discontinue production, even on a special order basis, of many Video Instruments (V.I.) and Visual Information (Vii) products that are in current use. Therefore identical instruments cannot be provided for new requirements. We have maintained a product line to offer precise video test capability with instruments of modern technology. Below is a summary of what new products can provide an approximate equivalent to older instruments.
Model 602 (portable) or Model 3602 (bench and rack mount) - functional replacement for Models 22, 23, 24, 200, 201, 203, 204, 205, 206, 410, 420, 430, 1200, 1201, 1202, 1203, 1204, 1205, 1206, 1208, 1210, 2501, 2502, 2503, 2602A, 3100, 3200 and variations thereof. No direct replacement exists for the 800 Series (Models 875, 890, 892, 894 and variations thereof), the Model 110 or the 2700 Series that offered user pattern development capability. No current equivalent exists for Models 17, 27, 1207, 151A, 500 Series special products and 700 Series special products.
